005 - LACMA

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, founded in 1961, is the largest art museum in the western United States.

Informed by the rich cultural heritage and diverse population of Los Angeles, LACMA exhibits and interprets works of multiple cultures in traditional and modern mediums - an iconic monument of Los Angeles.

Depicted in the image above is the famous large-scale sculpture by Chris Burden named the “Urban Lights”. Installed in 2008, the public art displays 202 restored street lamps from the 1920’s and 1930’s, found along Southern California. Bringing people of all countries to visit, the Urban Lights brightens the aesthetic of Los Angeles in the night and provides the experience to feel more than enough.
