First founded in 1957 as one of the first 24/7 restaurant in Southern California, Norms has established its reputation as a historic and cultural monument in Los Angeles.

The longest operating Norms restaurant to date is located on La Cienega and still remains the place “Where Life Happens.” The diner’s iconic retro aesthetic - upswept roofs, geometric shapes and bold use of glass, neon and steel designed by Elon Davis - still grasps the eyes of locals and tourists today. In the image above, we have taken a photo of the store’s exterior and reconfigured it as a celebration of the restaurant’s ageless design and it’s significance in the city of Los Angeles - providing a “six out of five” experience to their customers and visitors.
